 This year’s conference will feature a number of leading figures in the field of Arts Entrepreneurship. These are just four such people who will be in attendance:

 Dr. Angela Myles Beeching is a leading career consultant for musicians and the author of Beyond Talent: Creating a Successful Career in Music(Oxford University Press). Dr. Gary D. Beckmanis the most cited researcher in the field of Arts Entrepreneurship. A long-time leader in Arts Entrepreneurship, Beckman is a co-founder of the Society for Arts Entrepreneurship Education and, through his teaching, mentoring, and research, has inspired numerous students and academics both nationally and internationally.

Prof. Gerald Klicksteinis a leading arts entrepreneurship and music educator and author of the acclaimed book, The Musician's Way (Oxford). Founder and former Director of the Music Entrepreneurship Center at the Peabody Conservatory, you can learn more about his work via his blog as well as his LinkedIn and Twitter feeds. 

Dr. David Cutler is the author of both The Savvy Musician: Building a Career, Earning a Living & Making a Difference(Helius Press) and The Savvy Music Teacher: Blueprint for Maximizing Income & Impact (Oxford University Press).In addition to his well-known books, Cutler leads workshops at universities across the country.

Thursday, October 18th

Friday, October 19th

Morning Keynote Address with Josh Davies, CEO of The Center for Work Ethic Development, a dynamic speaker with a provocative message about the workplace of the 21st century- and how arts and entrepreneurship can play an important role in preparing students.

7:30 pm: Evening Concert, "Intersect: A Celebration of Diverse Musics and Stories." Grusin Music Hall on the CU Campus

Join students musicians from the CU College of Music for a presentation of music from various cultures and experiences as well as incorporating student digital video narratives around place, identity, ad inclusion. 

Saturday, October 20th
9:00 am - 1:00 pm: Conference Sessions

Morning panel on Women in Arts Leadership, featuring a fantastic panel of local women leaders from the greater Boulder arts community. Moderated by CU-Boulder Innovation & Entrepreneurship Director, Sarabeth Berk. Panel sponsored by Millikin University.

1:30 - 3:30 pm: Closing Lunch and Awards Ceremony
4:00 - 6:00 pm: SAEE Board Meeting
