What is the Society for Arts Entrepreneurship Education?
The Society for Arts Entrepreneurship Education (SAEE) is a professional community and nexus for arts entrepreneurship practice, teaching, and research. SAEE connects educators, researchers, practicing artists, and community leaders to advance arts entrepreneurship education, strengthen the field, and connect learning with the world.
Who do you support?
SAEE supports all individuals and organizations engaged in arts entrepreneurship education, including higher education leaders, faculty, staff, and students; community organizations and educators; researchers; and practicing artists. We bring together those developing programs, conducting research, creating educational opportunities, and sharing their experience to help artists build entrepreneurial skills and sustainable careers.

SAEE offers a professional network, learning opportunities, and pathways for members to connect, contribute, and grow. The Society offers an annual conference, virtual professional development opportunities, education and career resources, awards, and leadership opportunities in the filed. Our membership values include providing access to opportunity, inspiration, validation, and celebration by connecting members with peers and emerging practices across higher education, the community, and the creative sector.

Artists bring unique capacities for creative problem-solving, innovation, and developing novel solutions to complex challenges—skills that can create meaningful impact within communities and beyond. SAEE advances the systems, frameworks, and educational practices that help artists intentionally apply these capacities to entrepreneurial endeavors while shaping the national dialogue around arts entrepreneurship in universities and communities.
